Legion gets first plastic Hordes beast!

Coming in February from Privateer Press Everblight gets the first plastic heavy warbeast boxed set

The warlocks that serve the dragon Everblight can call upon a myriad of dragonspawn, each a perfect engine of draconic destruction. The Carnivean, an ancient and favored dragonspawn, shreds flesh, bone, and steel with its mighty claws and a shark-like maw. The Ravagore emulates it progenitor’s fearsome breath by engulfing foes in gouts of blighted fire. Terrifying in its brutal simplicity, the sickle-armed Scythean is another ancient breed created to single-mindedly destroy any who oppose its master’s will.
This box set contains three color stat cards and one multi-part heavy warbeast plastic model (PIP 73057). Included are all the components to assemble one of three heavy warbeast variants: Carnivean, Ravagore, or Scythean. A player may field any number of these heavy warbeasts in a Legion of Everblight army.

'

The dragonspawn Proteus is Absylonia’s greatest creation. With a mass of thrashing tentacles projecting from its horrible visage, Proteus is the dragon’s hunger given obscene form. This unnatural abomination snares its victims with its tentacles and drags them inexorably into the grasp of its waiting claws. Those ensnared die horribly as Proteus strips flesh from bone, filling the air with a bloody mist.
The Proteus character heavy dragonspawn upgrade kit comes in a blister (PIP 73062). The Proteus character heavy dragonspawn upgrade kit is NOT a complete model. Players will need a Legion of Everblight Carnivean/Ravagore/Scythean Heavy Dragonspawn kit (PIP 73057) in addition to this kit. A player may field one Proteus in a Legion of Everblight army.

Christmas comes early........

Multiple knocks on my door today have resulted in a day filled with new goodies!

Malifaux reinforcements for Seamus in the form of Molly's crew box, her totem the "Necrotic machine" and Seamus's hulking avatar form!  It's funny how the avatar's come in the smallest box possible!

My Empire of the Blazing Sun naval fleet that I have been awaiting from Arcane for a few months now....Very happy this has "finally" arrived!

Gladiator rulebook from Warhammer Historical, £10 for a gorgeous hardback rulebook....bargain!  I loved the Spartacus TV series, so looking forward to recreating some of that!  :)

and finally the Gears of War boardgame.....I've been looking at getting some boardgames for ages especially as quite a few now come with very highly detailed miniatures!  After reading the awesome review on Frontlinegamers blog and his recommendation I picked this game up!  Looking forward to trying this out, especially as it can be played solo!  :)

Anyway off now to play with my goodies.........

Pulp City

A 32mm skirmish game played with superheroes and villains!  Build a team made up of Supremes of various levels and battle for good or evil.....
Level 1 Supremes are a little bit more powerful than regular humans.
Level 2 Supremes are super powered beings.
Level 3 Supremes are insanely powerful and only usable in large games!

One of my favourite villains, a lvl 1 by the name of "Gentleman" a ruthless hitman

A lvl 5 Hero team from the "Heavy Metal" faction featuring Dr Mercury, Nuclear Jones and Chronin
2 x level 2 Supremes and a level 1

This is currently all my Pulp City Supremes painted up.......although I still have more to finish......

Bushido

http://www.bushido-thegame.com/

This is a game that I have been following for a while and at the Colours wargaming show I recently attended I picked up a starter set for the Cult of Yurei after seeing the awesome demo table the guys had setup

This comes with 5 highly detailed metal miniatures, small rulebook, dice and (the obligatory) stat cards

I also picked up Nezumi, the first wave expansion for the game.....there was a special offer, so it was rude not to........

I've just noticed this fantastic miniature previewed for the next wave......

My gaming buddy Robin (of Gruntz) picked up the Savage Wave and I'm thinking we need to build and paint these up soon and try out this great looking skirmish game!

New Hordes epic Warlocks

I've been a bit lax lately with regards to "Warmahordes" but new epic Warlocks from the two factions I play have been previewed recently by Privateer Press:

1st post!

Well it was suggested by some people that I start a blog to help me keep on track with my various miniature projects....I do tend to "flit" from one game to another and I am easily distracted by shiny metal.....

Never done anything like this, it's all new......

If anyone but me even reads this I hope you will find something of interest, it will be mainly gaming but possibly some other stuff too.......
